Dr. Deidra Hodges
Dr. Deidra Hodges is an exceptional leader in photovoltaics (PV) and solar energy research with extensive experience in PV and X- and gamma-ray radiation detectors for national security applications. Her career spans both the research frontier and strategic leadership across national laboratories and Fortune 500 energy companies.
Dr. Hodges has scaled QEI through her extensive network, forged at some of the nation's most respected research institutions and energy companies, including Brookhaven National Laboratory, Kansas City National Security Center (Honeywell FM&T), the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Florida Power & Light, and NextEra Energy.
As Treasurer of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department Heads Association, Dr. Hodges is uniquely positioned to foster synergistic collaborations in research and workforce development, bridging the gap between academic preparation and industry demand at a national scale.
